About the Client
Our client is an AI MedTech company serving orthopedic and urology specialty practices in the United States. The company combines ambient AI clinical documentation with AI-assisted E/M coding to help providers create more complete, claim-ready notes.
The product had a strong fit for high-stakes specialty workflows. But before the engagement, its search and AI answer presence did not reflect that positioning. Prospective buyers searching for medical dictation software, AI medical coding, specialty documentation, and EHR-connected workflows were not consistently finding the company.
The goal was not generic traffic. It was to build a durable acquisition channel that could reach high-intent buyers, establish authority across the questions that shape a buying decision, and give AI answer engines the evidence needed to recommend the company accurately.
The Challenge
Before the engagement, the company’s search footprint was largely limited to its own brand name. It had limited visibility across the commercial queries prospective buyers use when evaluating medical documentation and coding solutions.
The AI visibility gap was equally significant. AI answer engines were not citing or recommending the company on key buyer questions, while outdated third-party descriptions shaped how the company was being understood. That created both a discovery problem and a reputation problem.
The company needed a stronger owned-content foundation, more authoritative third-party validation, and a clear strategy for helping search engines and AI systems understand its actual clinical, coding, and specialty-practice capabilities.
The Strategy
We developed a complete SEO and AEO strategy built around the high-intent questions specialty-practice buyers and AI answer engines ask before choosing an AI MedTech solution.
First, we mapped the commercial search landscape across medical dictation software, AI medical coding, medical coding outsourcing, ambient documentation, specialty coding, automated clinical documentation, and comparison-driven searches. This allowed us to identify the buyer prompts that mattered most across the company’s core business lines.
We then built content designed to answer those questions at every stage of the evaluation journey. The strategy included commercial articles, specialty coding guides, landing-page briefs, comparison resources, and technical content around E/M coding, documentation quality, integration considerations, and revenue-cycle risk.
The E/M coding cluster became a central differentiator. It gave the company a credible, defensible body of content around the clinical and coding issues that matter most to orthopedic and urology practices.
We paired the owned-content work with earned placements in the independent roundups and capability profiles that AI answer engines cite. At the same time, we strengthened brand-direct pages so that when buyers asked what the company was or whether it was a good fit, AI systems could rely on accurate first-party information rather than outdated third-party descriptions.
Every component had a specific job. Commercial content captured buyer demand, specialty content built authority, first-party pages corrected the brand narrative, and earned citations created the external validation required for AI recommendations.
The Results
The company built a measurable non-branded search and AI-answer presence.

In Google Search Console, the last three months against the previous three show impressions up 71.6%, from 79.9K to 137K.
The founder told us the company received more than six leads from its website, driven by Google traffic, in a single 24-hour period. With a lifetime value of $100K to $250K per client, search has become a major revenue channel, with approximately $250K+ in revenue driven by search.
Key metrics:
• +66% non-branded click growth, from 215 to 357 clicks per month
• $250K+ in revenue driven by search
• $100K to $250K lifetime value per client
• $35K+ monthly organic traffic value, October 2026
• 29x more non-branded top-3 search rankings, from 16 to 462
• 0 of 6 to 5 of 5 AI answer engines citing or recommending the company
• 168 AI-generated buyer prompts where a company page ranks #1
This audience is very high LTV, with each client worth roughly $100K to $250K over their lifetime. That changes what good traffic looks like. The company does not need a lot of traffic, just precise traffic from specialty practices that are actively evaluating a solution. A small number of high-intent clicks can turn into new clients, which is why non-branded click growth from 215 to 357 clicks per month still drives six figures in revenue.
The most important outcome was not simply more visibility. The company now has a stronger body of owned and earned evidence around the topics that influence a high-intent evaluation, giving search engines and AI answer systems a clearer reason to surface the company as a credible specialty-practice option.
Future Growth Trajectory
The search foundation is now in place for continued compounding growth. As newer rankings mature, the company is positioned to earn more non-branded traffic from specialty-practice buyers who are actively evaluating documentation, coding, and workflow solutions.
The AI-answer opportunity will continue to expand as the company earns more authoritative third-party placements and strengthens the first-party pages that support its most valuable buyer prompts.
The E/M coding content cluster will remain central to the strategy. It has already become a differentiated authority asset, and continued expansion will deepen the company’s advantage across the clinical and coding questions where general-purpose solutions are less credible.
The engagement transformed the company from one that AI answer engines did not name into a specialized option they can cite and recommend. The next phase is to expand that advantage across more commercial queries, stronger comparison coverage, and additional high-intent buyer journeys.
